DISACON develops the FinLogix AI Navigator with AWS and Woodmark
Joint innovation project: artificial intelligence translates functional requirements into executable booking rules.
Montabaur, 9 October 2025 – DISACON is part of a joint innovation project with AWS and Woodmark Consulting on applying artificial intelligence to complex financial and securities processes. The goal is the prototype implementation of AI-supported approaches for analysing, automating and optimising selected process chains – with a focus on scalability, data quality and practical applicability in regulated environments.
As part of the project, the FinLogix AI Navigator is being developed. It is intended to bridge the gap between functional requirements from the financial sector and their technical implementation. The solution is aimed in particular at small and mid-sized securities trading firms and helps translate complex booking logic efficiently into executable rules – without requiring programming skills.
The FinLogix AI Navigator is based on a modular architecture that converts natural-language input into structured booking requirements and automatically derives implementable logic components from them. An AI assistant based on Amazon Q and Amazon Bedrock helps formulate and interpret requirements, understands financial terminology and regulatory contexts, and provides suggestions in real time, including validations.
A Logic Generation Engine based on AWS Lambda automatically converts the requirements into executable booking rules and generates template-based code components for common patterns. A Data Processing Hub on Amazon RDS provides data storage and traceability: a central repository for transaction data with version control, audit trail and a secure, multi-tenant architecture. The approach is designed entirely for AWS.
With the FinLogix AI Navigator, DISACON aims to significantly accelerate the implementation of functional and regulatory requirements and to relieve institutions structurally. Expected benefits include faster implementation of regulatory changes, less dependence on IT departments and greater agility through a self-service model.
AWS provides the cloud and AI infrastructure, while Woodmark Consulting contributes its expertise in data-driven models and analytical methods. Together, they are creating a practical framework for implementing and developing AI close to production in regulated, operational process chains.
